Next Element!

We are happy to begin work with Next Element Consulting, out of Newton KS. Next Element specializes in optimizing communication skills and interaction.

With one session under our belt already, we are already feeling the positive effects!! There are some extremely interesting dynamics behind communication that we are learning and perhaps we will share some of these points in our blog - and talk about how they directly affect how we present, inform, and communicate with possible users, investors, or enthusiasts.

If you get a chance, check ou their website http://next-element.com.

History Matters

I'm sick of hearing people say that history has no potential in the business world. I'm sick of people saying that history doesn't matter.

Everything we do is based on history. Every single action we take is the consequence of historical events playing themselves out through us.

This post is nothing more than writing down that single thought. I hope it works.

The New Everything

Being an entrepreneur is tough stuff. There is never enough time to do...or should I say, complete...anything.

You have to just keep on trucking everyday by following your basic insticts. It's easy to get off track and to start walking someone else's road. It's easy to be too busy to blog, which seems to be the case a lot with us.

We have, yet again, completely revamped the entire look of the front page of Time Trails. I ended up ditching the "white space" theme I was going on and went with a more futuristic look. Check it out at www.timetrail.com...but its not completely finished yet. Close though.

Progress!!

The new website will be done soon!!

I'm pretty stoked about it - im using a much different design approach. The motto?

"White Space"

So yeah. I'd say by the end of the day tomorrow I should have it live. At LEAST by this weekend.

Ok, well I skipped lunch and breakfast today so its time to go home and eat.

Here's a screenshot of the new design concept (just the menu bar)

Thunderstorms

Holy smokes. Tornadoes ripping though central Kansas tonight. It's late and the storm is so loud I decided to not go to sleep but instead continue to work.

The work never ends, it seems.

However, there's something about the dreary weather that makes it easier to get things done. Its like somehow the ever changing pressure in the air is manipulating the pressure in my brain. Then again, its debatable what you can and cannot do at midnight. I'm going to guess that my productivity will be fairly low until I finally slump over my coffee table, dozing off until 3 am when a lightning burst will wake me up. You can't just go straight back to sleep, so I'll instinctively check my email. Of course, no one has sent me anything except for JetStar Airways promoting a new ticket sale on round trip flights to West Africa. I should remove myself from their mailing list - my original intent was to one day actually purchase a discounted ticket to some exotic place. Yeah Right.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I need to go to sleep before I do any more harm with my keyboard.

The windows in my room are wide open, and the torrential rain is providing a wonderful acoustic melody as it pounds against the wall. I will likely pass out quickly tonight.

Work in the morning.
