Thunderstorms

Holy smokes. Tornadoes ripping though central Kansas tonight. It's late and the storm is so loud I decided to not go to sleep but instead continue to work.

The work never ends, it seems.

However, there's something about the dreary weather that makes it easier to get things done. Its like somehow the ever changing pressure in the air is manipulating the pressure in my brain. Then again, its debatable what you can and cannot do at midnight. I'm going to guess that my productivity will be fairly low until I finally slump over my coffee table, dozing off until 3 am when a lightning burst will wake me up. You can't just go straight back to sleep, so I'll instinctively check my email. Of course, no one has sent me anything except for JetStar Airways promoting a new ticket sale on round trip flights to West Africa. I should remove myself from their mailing list - my original intent was to one day actually purchase a discounted ticket to some exotic place. Yeah Right.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I need to go to sleep before I do any more harm with my keyboard.

The windows in my room are wide open, and the torrential rain is providing a wonderful acoustic melody as it pounds against the wall. I will likely pass out quickly tonight.

Work in the morning.
